Learning Guides
The American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ABMGG) has developed Learning Guides as a tool to assist the Board, accredited training programs, Program and Training Directors, and trainees as they plan, execute, and evaluate the areas of training that are useful for both clinical and laboratory genetics professionals. As the preamble to each guide indicates, these learning guides are not rules, study guides, or required courses. The ABMGG views these guides as one of several available documents that attempt to define the generally accepted competencies for members of our community and hopes that these guides are valuable tools to assist all in the attainment of professional goals.
